It has been another bumpy month in my professional life, so I haven’t been as productive as I would have liked on the writing front. However, I did get one story submitted to an anthology ahead of the deadline, and I’m hoping to get another one completed this weekend. Sadly, I also got two rejections…

On Saturday, I made the trip up to Neumünster to attend Fusselschwarm’s Fussel-Samstag Open Day. Usually held on the third Saturday of the month, this is when Europe’s main furry book seller opens its doors for customers to explore the wide range of books and comics on offer. Even better, it took place from 3pm,…

September has been a rather busy month, meaning I’ve struggled to do as much writing as I would have liked. With the next anthology deadlines coming up in October, I have made some progress though, and I’m hoping to have a few stories ready to submit in time. The main thing that happened this month…

Last week, I received my first unsolicited email from an AI agent relating to one of my stories. They told me they had come across it online and had ‘painted’ a scene from it. They included a link (which I did not click on) offering me the ‘painting’ no strings attached. They then went on…

It has been a rather mixed month when it comes to writing. I have spent most of August in the UK, but have managed to squeeze in an exciting project that will be revealed in due course. I am really proud of this one, and I hope you enjoy it when I can finally spill…

It has been quite a productive month regarding writing, with two stories completed and sent to anthologies. I am hoping to round off a third before the submission deadline later this evening. The main news this month was my story ‘Hemlock’ being published in the Anthrocon conbook. It was a real thrill to feature in…

It has been another month when editing has taken priority over writing, largely due to the need to make ends meet. If you are looking for professional writing, proofreading, or editorial services, please drop me a line. I did manage to submit one poem – my first – to a conbook, while I am hoping…

It has been a rather busy month, although not an awful lot of writing has been done. I returned to the UK on May 8, so wanted to get all of my writing projects tied up by then. I succeeded with this, submitting stories to a couple of conbooks as well as the first draft…

It has been an incredibly eventful month so let’s jump straight in. Firstly, ‘Back to the Molly House’ has been nominated for the 2025 Cóyotl Award for Best Short Story. It’s a real honour to appear on a shortlist with so many fantastic writers, but it would be a dream come true to win. If…

There’s not too much to report this month. I’ve been back writing stories again and have made significant progress on a few, including putting the finishing touches on one that should be released next month. I’ve also done the final edits on another story that should be coming out soon and submitted a third story…
