One of the things I learned at MFF was the importance of reviewing.

Recommending a book is a good way of promoting a writer as it encourages others to check out what they have written. This is something I can easily do to help support the furry writing community.

Consequently, I have set up an account on Goodreads and have started reviewing some of the furry novels and novellas I have recently read. I am hoping to use the Festive Period to read and review more books, adding to my collection of reviews.

I’ll admit that writing reviews is an art form in itself and I have found it more difficult than I’d expected. It’s hard to balance an objective critique without giving spoilers, while I feel I am nowhere near developed enough as a writer to start talking about the more stylistic and technical aspects of the writing process. Still, I hope my reviews are useful and will encourage others to read the stories I have enjoyed.
