I will be hosting two writing panels with my friend Huskyteer at this year’s Scotiacon.
The first will be the Writers’ Social, which takes place in the Conference Cafe (Breakout Foyer) on Friday, 6 February, at 5:30pm. All writers and aspiring writers are invited to come along to this meet and greet where we chat books, influences and any other random shit we like. There may be biscuits too.
The second will be Writing Historical Fiction, which takes place in the Finnieston Suite (Hilton) on Saturday, 7 February, at 6pm. We’ll be chatting all things historical fiction so if this is a genre that interests you, come along.
There will be other writing tracks too. Amethyst Mare is running her Writing Furry Fiction and Writing Furry Erotica panels again while Guest of Honour Todd Aldrington will be hosting a panel on how to Weaponise Your Anger on the Page alongside Rik McCloud.
Finally, Uncle Kage will also be on hand to talk about effective writing and how to make your story come alive.
We’d love to see you at any of our panels to help support furry writing. We’d also urge you to check out The Book Badgers in the Dealers’ Den. They have a wide range of furry literature, including many of the books we’ll be discussing.
